The Shadow Boxers are made up of two passionate sports fans, Dom and Paul.
The boys began sharing their tips between friends and later on Facebook. It was here that Shadow Boxers was born. The response has been nothing short of huge, with dozens of happy punters with a high success rate.
Today, Shadow Boxers provide weekly tips and specials for horse racing in Australia.
Dom
I am a passionate Queenslander who has played, loved and followed all sports all my life.
My immediate and external families all share my sporting passion and are my greatest supporters.
Horse racing has been in my blood, since I was a young boy who regularly rode his push bike to the TAB, then onto the race track to watch these magnificent athletes perform, week after week.
One of my other favourite sports is now making its mark to the Australian public.
I thought I was going to be the Aussie who entered into the NFL before Jarryd Hayne, mind you that was 30 years ago!
I played in the NRL in the early 90’s, but after a knee injury my career was short lived.
Today I am very excited to see No. 38 doing his thing for us Aussies who have a passion for American football.

Paul
I could’ve been a good footballer but was totally unaware that I needed talent.
I’m a typical bloke I guess – love The Canterbury Bulldogs, a day at the races with a bunch of friends and of course cricket and NFL.
My favourite horse was the mighty Kingston Town but only backed him once and he lost in a four horse race.
I’ve never been to the Polo or a Book club and always read my paper from the back page first.
I’m an avid meat lover, but not a quiche lover.
All in all, I’m just a bloke that loves life and laugh and friends and family.
